A one hour, detailed new patient exam starts the process of getting to know youR body from the feet up including gait analysis, spinal and extremity motion, muscle strength, neurological and soft tissue examinations. 30 minute follow up appointments allows us the freedom to provide such a full body approach in order to restore your body and relieve your mind. We treat most patients the first day, never double booK, and don't ask for treatment plan commitments or package Plans!
What Is Tensegrity?
When a joint is moving properly, the involved muscles and tendons can withstand the stresses that they were built to accommodate. So how do you get this balanced spine and keep it? We call it tensegrity. Tensegrity is an architectural system in which structures stabilize themselves by balancing the counteracting forces of compression and pulling. When applied to the body the term describes a perfect balance of compressive and tensile forces between bones, muscles and joints. So having a body with restored Tensegrity means that you're in total equilibrium, you're structurally sound. When the body is out of alignment and loses its tensegrity, unbalanced forces pull on the soft-tissue and send uneven stresses to the spine and joints which lead to injuries and painful movement.
