What Brought Me To Chiropractic

"Looking back now, I was being led to this career my entire life. Though my family used conventional medicine when necessary, my parents thought playing outside was better medicine than anything that could be prescribed. I grew up in a healthy seashore environment that taught me to love outdoor activities and competition. I started playing soccer as soon as I learned to walk and I continued to play through my junior year in college.

I suffered injuries in my college career that altered the course of my life, both physically and professionally. I am grateful for that experience because it encouraged me to further pursue a career in healthcare and sports rehabilitation. I’ve spent many years since then dedicating my life to learning so I could offer clinical support to others and prevent their life-limiting injuries.

Using the knowledge that I’ve acquired, I want to help others enjoy and appreciate the amazing things their bodies can do in hopes that they’ll take the necessary measures to preserve both their health and the health of their loved ones."

How I Use Chiropractic Now

Like many other areas of life, my chiropractic practice has changed and evolved since moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma. With the generous guidance of Dr. Chris Barnes and heavily focused yoga trainings, my chiropractic style has bloomed into an dynamic system of emotional healing, intuitive corrections, isometric muscle re-wiring, and subconscious re-education. I utilize my favorite portions of manual techniques like adjusting, soft tissue release, and rehabilitative exercises but there can no longer be one way to treat the masses. Each person I see will have a different experience in the office. Each treatment is unique and is altered to match the personal expression and creativity of every “body.”
